GOLDSMITH GENERATIONS
A FAMILY CRAFT
We’re not the only goldsmiths in the family—it’s something of a shared passion. The love for the craft has been passed down and is now woven into our family story.

Choosing a creative career isn’t easy—it comes with a lot of uncertainty. That’s why having someone who shows it’s possible matters so much.
We were fortunate enough to have a couple of great examples in the family.

Our big examples are Marit and Wout, our aunt and uncle who are successful goldsmiths and showed us at a young age what it means to have a creative business with their own goldsmith company BLGK edelsmeden.

When Charlotte showed interest in their craft, they welcomed her into their atelier and taught her the tricks of the trade.
Also their daughter Julia followed in their footsteps—she's working as a goldsmith at BLGK Edelsmeden and building her own brand, Julia the Flying Goldsmith.

We love it when people pick up on the connection between our styles. It’s always fun to see their reaction when they discover we’re actually family.
CdK tends to lean a bit more toward the classical and refined, while BLGK embraces a more artisanal and organic feel.

Despite those differences, our designs often share the same roots—shaped by the same love for craftsmanship and a deep appreciation for detail.
